Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZC 85 L Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Remove all securing tapes from the refrigerator. Ensure that any locks or catches are removed to prevent young children from being trapped inside.
Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry thoroughly.
Place the refrigerator in a cool, well-ventilated room. Ensure the back of the cabinet is close to the wall but not touching it, and leave the required distance for ventilation.
Adjust the level of the appliance by screwing out the adjustable foot, or feet, at the bottom of the cabinet using your fingers.
Fit the spacers into the holes at the back of the appliance, ensuring the arrow is positioned as shown in the illustration.
Connect the appliance to a power supply. Ensure it is in accordance with the power supply voltage and frequency specified in the technical specifications.
Leave the appliance for 2 hours after installation before turning it on, to allow the refrigerant to settle.
Turn the thermostat dial to the required position. The intermediate position (3-4) is usually the most suitable. The thermostat setting can vary based on room temperature, door openings, food storage, and appliance position.
